In Houston's Montrose neighbourhood, Anvil Bar & Refuge gives classics their full due through its celebrated list of 100 cocktails while continuing to develop seasonal originals. The room is lively and approachable, with a deep spirits selection and a bar team that treats a familiar recipe as an invitation to explore rather than a museum piece.
