Cure helped reconnect New Orleans with its own cocktail heritage while simultaneously pushing the city's drinking culture forward. Opened on Freret Street in 2009, it became a catalyst for both the neighbourhood and the modern New Orleans cocktail movement. The drinks combine disciplined classic technique with thoughtful contemporary riffs, supported by a serious food programme and relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere.
