Since opening in the East Village on New Year's Eve 2006, Death & Co has played an outsized role in shaping modern American cocktail culture. The dark, intimate room, table service and constantly evolving menu helped establish a model copied far beyond New York. Nearly two decades later, the original remains focused on the same fundamentals: rigorous drinks, knowledgeable service and an escape from the street outside.
