Sober Company returned to Shanghai in a larger new home built around a journey from sober to tipsy. Shingo Gokan's concept now moves through Japanese-inspired Kissa, Izakaya and Sakaba spaces, allowing coffee, food, highballs and sophisticated regional cocktails to coexist under one roof. It is less a single cocktail bar than a progression through different forms of Japanese drinking culture.
