Hidden beneath an unmarked entrance in central Tallinn, Whisper Sister draws on the intimacy of the classic speakeasy without treating history as a costume. The bar takes its name from 1920s slang for women who ran illicit drinking establishments, while the drinks combine international cocktail-bar technique with warm, highly personal hospitality. Calling before entering remains part of the ritual.
